Carbon Homes developed this 1930’s property creating an open plan kitchen, dining area with a large cathedral roof.

To ensure our clients could live at the property we first converted the old workshop at the back of the property into a beautiful granny flat then started to develop the main home.

A large extension was added to the property, the design considered the heritage of the property so all key features such windows and cornices where custom made.

Even with 1930’s homes we focus on energy efficiency, in this project the entire roof was fully replaced with high efficiency insulation, all lighting was changed LED, high efficiency hot water system, double glazing to new windows and high efficiency air conditioning was installed.
